Everest Three High Passes Trek is one of the most adventurous treks in the Everest Region of Nepal. Off the beaten trails, stunning mountains summit vertically above the head, coniferous flora and fauna and the culture and tradition of people living in the mountainous regions are the major attractions. Also, the local fooding taste, simpler accommodations and continuous daily gain in elevation make your journey exciting. Trek to three passes Renjo La Pass, Cho La Pass and Kongma La Pass not only brings lifetime adventurous memories but also broadens the mind and rejuvenates the soul.

Three High Pass Trek offers you the closer view of highest mountains like Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse, Mount Ama Dablam and also Mount Makalu. The trekking trails in the Everest Region are of mixed type - easy, wide, narrow, steep, sometimes rough and rugged and even rocky depending upon the elevation and the geographic location. Walking through the rhododendron and pine forest gives you additional excitement and makes you feel closer to mother nature.

The taste of local foods like dal bhat, dhindo, local bread, momo, noodles and pastas is another fascinating aspect of the 20 days Everest Three High Passes Trek. Likewise, simple accommodations with limited facilities examine your capacity to adjust with the minimal things in the himalayas regions of Nepal. The cold temperature, often freezing during night time, chances of altitude sickness with the gain in elevation, rocky and steep walking terrain are other challenges of the trek.

Spring and Autumn are considered as the most favorable time for Hiking to Renjo La Pass, Cho La Pass and Kongma La Pass as the climatic condition during this period of time is moderate and also the skies are clear and the visibility of the snow capped mountains is also perfectly good. People also trek during the winter season and it is not recommended during the monsoon season as it would be difficult because of frequent rainfall, slippery roads and less visibility.

In the proposed trekking package of 17 days Three High Pass Trek, 2 days are designed for acclimatization in order to make the trekkers used to the gain in elevation and the resulting environmental dynamics. The chances of getting altitude sickness with symptoms like painful headache, shortness in breath, tendency to vomit and difficulty in walking is high as you walk towards the higher altitude. It is to be noted to walk at a slower pace, drink plenty of water, and take enough food throughout the hiking to avoid such difficulties.
